The Ken-Rock Community Center is proud to learn it received a $14,5000 grant from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois Grants Program, with support from the Dr. Louis and Violet Rubin Fund.
The grant will be used to help fund a 15-passenger van to transport the children in the after school and summer recreation programs. The grant will significantly help Ken-Rock and the children and seniors who depend on us by allowing us to increase the number of off-site activities as well as be able to pick up children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to come to the center.
Ken-Rock is grateful for the continued trust the community foundation has placed in us. CFNIL grants helped Ken-Rock expand and improve its after-school education program.
