Children are assigned to teams based on several criteria.
* Priority will be to balance team rosters by grade.
* Players will be placed on teams by school or ZIP code – the most frequent ZIP code on the team.
* Release from a team only happens if a team is dissolved or there are specific issues between coach and player that require a release. Ken-Rock and only Ken-Rock will then reassign that player.

FAQ

Are there any other costs? Adults pay $1 at the door for games, students are free.
Where can I find rules? Rules of each age division can be found online at www.kenrock.org.
Is there an age cut-off date or grade? We go strictly by school grade in our basketball league.
Are there participation rules? All players will play half of the game. The clock will stop at the four minute mark of each quarter for substitutions.
Can my child play with his or her friends? Yes. Please place any requests on the registration form. We will try to accommodate if possible.
How can I select a coach? Returning players are placed with their coach of the previous year, unless otherwise requested not to play for that coach. If you request not to play for the coach of the previous year, one will be selected for you. This is a case by case decision. For example, if you request your child to not play for the coach of a team that finished in last place the prior year, you cannot simply request to play for the coach of the team that finished first.
