Registration open for Ken-Rock’s summer youth softball leagues

ROCKFORD – It’s time to get back into the swing of things.

If you have a boy or girl ages 6 to 17, you now can register them for Ken-Rock Community Center’s youth softball leagues.

Ken-Rock’s summer leagues run from June 2 to July 20 at the Don Schmid Youth Sports Complex behind Riverdahl School, on the corner of Sandy Hollow Road and Kishwaukee Street. The cost is just $80 per player.

Ken-Rock believes in full participation. All players bat throughout the game and every player will play at least two consecutive innings (six outs) on defense.
