Computer Training for Adults

The Ken-Rock Community Center responds positively to the needs of the community as it continues to grow both in membership and diversity.

Ken-Rock’s University of Adult Education Program, sponsored by the United Way of Rock River Valley will teach you the basics of computers and several key programs people need to know going forward in six sessions. Ken-Rock will help you prepare a resume and show you how to access and email the resume. Basic computer education includes learning to navigate the computer.

Best of all, the classes are FREE OF CHARGE. Ken-Rock has completed its FALL 2017 class schedule.  For more information or to sign up, call Ken Rock at 815-398-8864 or call Zach Pence at 815-298-2780

The basic computer classes will show you how to operate a computer for you simple needs, while at the same time set up an e-mail account. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel will be covered as well. In the sixth session, we can go over how to set up a Facebook account and how to use it.
